The pain felt from eating a Carolina Reaper or Ghost Pepper is something we’re passionate about. Spice occupies our thoughts.
Thoughts like,

So we set out to create a toothpaste that makes your eyes water and tongue tango. Not only did it need to be intense, we wanted Chilly to be healthier and safer than other brands. We went into R&D mode with the country’s leading oral care lab, telling them we wanted healthy toothpaste that’ll blow your wig back.
After a full year of testing, stripping out bad ingredients and adding explosives, Chilly was born.

That being said, cavities are caused by the bacteria in plaque that eat through your enamel and create a cavity. Last year, German scientist, Samual Füchtbauer et al, published an article about capsicum’s (aka peppers) ability to kill bacteria. The study shows that capsaicin, the chemical compound that makes peppers spicy, is highly effective at inhibiting the growth of bacteria. And not just any bacteria but the bacteria in your mouth that causes tooth decay, bad breath, cavities and periodontitis. Brushing with Chilly will keep your teeth and breath clean and minty.  I love it!
