After 18 years in the restaurant industry as a chef in St. Louis, Memphis, Louisville, Atlanta, Albuquerque and attending culinary school in Vermont, Jim O"Brien developed a cooking style encompassing several regions and styles. Most notably, Jim enjoys southwestern cuisine with French & Italian technique which can be seen (and tasted) in each of his products.
Family Owned & Operated Since 2010, Crazy Good was formed in Albuquerque NM as a means to subsidize an income and intended to be a college fund for his son Nolan.
After moving home to Memphis in 2011, Jim was laid off from his job due to corporate downsizing. Jim immediately began selling his sauces & seasonings to stores, restaurants, farmers markets and anyone wanting to jazz up their food. The hot sauces started to gain a cult-like following among Memphis restaurants which lead to grocery & liquor store sales.
In 2013 the Mixers were introduced beginning with Crazy Mary and quickly followed by Crazy Rita. Jim O’Brien’s Crazy Good Specialty Foods has been a Memphis company since 2013 and has become a high integrity brand that produces the tastiest all natural products in their categories.

CRAZY GREEN MARY! from CRAZY GOOD.. I can't stop drinking this truly amazing mix! An awesome tomatillo flavor with the addition of Crazy Good's Sweet Heat Smoked Pineapple Hot Sauce. Jalapeño, poblano, habanero are present but with very little heat. Onion, garlic, lime juice and more fill in the rest of the flavor. This mix is like drinking a verde sauce without the vinegar tang. This makes an amazing marinade for chicken or add to stew. Not to mention a fantastic drink!

CRAZY MARY! from CRAZY GOOD.. A tomato bloody mary mix with so much more. With over 10 different ingredients, the tomatoes are just a small part of it's amazing flavor. Its like drinking a shrimp cocktail dip. You get the horseradish, roasted red pepper, garlic, olive juice, a little Worcestershire sauce and a great blend of the other ingredients. Such a great mix! This mix is spicy but not hot.
