The Beginning of Something AwesomeOwner Vid Lynch’s obsession with hot food began in high school at a “good-bye” party for a friend who was moving away. They were eating BBQ chicken and the friend started pouring some crazy extract sauce all over his food. Vid joined in and hasn’t stopped melting his insides since.
Years later, Vid and his friend Ben (who would later become his partner in Torchbearer), each had a crop of habanero peppers they had no idea what to do with. On the fateful day of September 21, 2004, they took all those peppers and bottled them with some carrots, mandarin oranges, and onions to preserve them. Turns out that was pure magic, because that resulted in creating the first sauce for the company: Super Fancy Sultry #7.
Family and friends couldn’t get enough, and the guys were convinced it might be time to try to sell their concoction. They even knew what to call themselves, as Vid had a photography and video production company named “Torchbearer.” Definitely too perfect to not use.

DANNY WOODS JALAPEÑO CILANTRO from TORCHBEARER SAUCES.. This sauce comes with a very earthy Cilantro flavor with notes of Jalapeño, garlic and a lime citrus kick. This is a simple sauce with a ton of flavor. There is a slight natural sweetness with the ton of Cilantro. This sauce would be amazing on pizza, spaghetti, chicken, on tacos or any Mexican foods. This is a Cilantro lovers dream.

GOBLIN SAUCE from TORCHBEARER SAUCES.. This sauce has a great kick of both flavor and heat. With ingredients of Jalapeño, Pineapple, Orange juice, Vinegar, Onion, Lime juice, garlic, Scorpion pepper and spices. The heat from the Scorpion peppers hits your tongue immediately, then the flavor of all the ingredients rolls across your tastebuds to give you a smooth, yet very spicy sauce that will pair wonderfully with all type of foods. The Orange juice and Pineapple gives this sauce a nice sweetness that matches so well with the rest of the ingredients. It has a nice punch of garlic, a nice citrus note from the Lime juice and a lingering flavor of black pepper. Nice job!

GOBLIN BLOOD from TORCHBEARER SAUCES.. At first taste you immediately know this is a Carolina Reaper forward sauce. Carolina Reaper is the primary flavor of this sauce. With hints of red pepper, Red wine vinegar, a slight smoky flavor coming from the use of Chipotle peppers. You will also get a nice punch of Garlic with notes of onion and Chives. All of these wonderfully flavorful ingredients are definitely over powered by the flavor of the Carolina reaper. That being said, I'm sure that is exactly the intent of this sauce. Once again, just like all the sauces I've had the pleasure to review from TORCHBEARER SAUCES this too is a perfect table sauce to use on any type of foods. This one will definitely bring both flavor and HEAT to your food.
